BREACH ALLEGED
ANGLO-ITALIAN TREATY CONTROL OF ISLANDS MUSSOLINI AND YEMEN Independent Cable Service (Received February 17, 11.45 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 17 Signor Mussolini has committed a breach of Article two of the AngloItalian agreement by secretly sending arms to Yemen in exchange for the control of several strategic islands fringing the Yemen coast. Article two of the agreement states that neither party shall seek a privileged political position in the territory at present belonging to Saudi Arabia or Yemen, or territory which either State might hereafter acquire.
