Beach Championships

RACING AT MURIWAI L. PERRY'S TRIPLE SUCCESS Although the beach at Muriwai was holding last Sunday, the weather was ideal for the New Zealand beach championships, held bv the Auckland MotorCycle Club. A crowd of about 400 visited Muriwai to witness a series of thrilling events. , Tho three divisions of the championshin were won by L. Perry, riding a Velocette machine in each class. Ihe 500 c.c. race was the most keenly contested, a. margin of 100 yards separating Perry from the second ruler, H. Mathews, on a Rudge, at the tape. Results were as follows:350 c.c.
