INTER-CLUB CONTESTS SUBURBS DEFEAT CITY The annual series of inter-club athletic contests between City and South Suburban clubs was staged at St urges Park, Otahuhu. This fixture has stimulated much interest among clubs and has done much to foster the team spirit in athletics. A cold wind made the conditions unpleasant for the runners Points were awarded on the group basis and the suburban clubs triumphed .by; 55 points to 38. . ' -
