BRITISH ISRAEL LEAGUE
The first meeting of the year of tho Women's league of the British Israel World Federation was held in the British Israel reading room on Thursday afternoon. Tho members and visitors were welcomed by Mrs. Cranston, who read a greeting from the president of tho London Women's League. A bouquet was presented to Mrs. Jacobson, who was married recently. An address entitled "Who Are the Jews?" was given by Mr. Walker, president of the Auckland branch of the federation. A solo was given by Mrs. Treadgold and a duet by Mrs. Treadgold and Miss Mather.
