WEDDING

GOLDSBURY—MACK St. .Peter's Anglican Church, Onehunga, "was the scene of a very charming wedding on Wednesday evening, Feb. 15, when Miss Elizabeth Jean Mack, only daughter oi' Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Mack, of Onehunga, was married to Mr. Alan Harry Goldsbury, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Goldsbury, of Onehunga. The officiating minister was the Rev. T. H. C. Partridge, and Sirs. Partridge was the organist. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a beautiful frock of magnolia satin, embossed in pansies, cut on classical lines, with a full bodice, heart-shaped neckline and long sleeves pointed on to the hand. From a vandyke point above the waist the skirt fell in graceful folds and formed a long train at the back. Her beautiful veil of cream tulle was held in place with a coronet of cream tuberoses, and she carried a bouquet of waterlilies. The bridesmaids. Miss Betty Brown (cousin of the bride) and Miss Una Sutherland, wore frocks of apple-green lace chiffon over satin, with full skirts and swathed bodices. On their heads they wore pixie-shaped hats of green chiffon with halos of green velvet flowers and flowing veils. They carried dainty bouquets in lemon and gold tonings. The best man was Mr. Lyprian Peake and the groomsman Mr. Lawry Goldsbury. Ushers at the church were Mr. Donald Brown and Mr. H. Kilduff. At the conclusion of the service a solo was rendered by Mrs. E, Bassett (cousin of the bride). Following tho ceremony a reception was held at the Domain Tea Kiosk, where Mrs. Mack received her guests wearing a frock of navy and white georgette, a navy coat of broiderie Anglaise, and a navy straw hat. She carried a bouquet of autumn-toned flowers. Mrs. Goldsbury wore a navy frock with floral trimming, and a navy hat. She carried a bouquet of pink flowers. At the reception several delightful solos were sung by Miss Betty Brown, the chief bridesmaid.
