Friday Charges of failing to pay country allowance to an apprentice, failing to pay traveling time on suburban work for an apprentice, failing to pay travelling time in respect of a journeyman, and employing a boy on electrician's work and failing to pay a journeyman's wages, were preferred against the McKay Electrical Company in the I)argaville Magistrate's Court. Mr. G. N. Morris, S.M., imposed lines of £1 on each of the first three charges, while on the fourth chargo a fine of £5 was inflicted.
