DETECTIVE FOR AUCKLAND
[by telegraph—ows cokbespondsst] WANGANUI. Friday Detective-Sergeant N. W. Bayliss, of Wanganui, is to be transferred to Auckland. He joined the police forcij in Christchurch in 1921 and was stationed there and in Dunedin, Tiniaru and Wellington before coming to Wanganui. He was made a detective in 1925 and received his promotion detectivesergeant since coming to Wanganui.
No information has- vet been received in Auckland as to when Detective-ber-geant Bayliss will take up his duties li'ere. . "
