DOBSON MINE IDLE

TIMBERING WORK DISPUTE [by telegraph—press association] GREYMOUTH, Thursday The Dobson mine was idle to-day a result of a dispute regarding pav ment for timbering work. The miners held a stop-work meeting this morn ing and decided to return home pending the granting of their demands, which were refused by the management. A further meeting of the union was held this afternoon. Altogether 150 men are affected.
