MATCHES AT OTOROHANGA [from our own correspondent! OTOROHANGA, Thursday The series of competitions for the Dickens trophy held under the control of the Otorohanga Defence Ride Club was finalised on the local range, F. Hyde being the winner. The competition was over a double range shoot at 000 yds, and the winner shot consistently throughout. Following were the principal scores:—F. Hyde (17yds), 279; L. Palmer (scr), 202; F. Thomas (30.vds), 256; Iv. McDonald (36yds). 211: B. Palmer (7.vds). 184; H. Murphy. 170; H. E. Laurence, 107; F. McFarland, 143; L. Peake, 94; E. Southall. S": Riko. 83: A Rutland 81; S. Long, 70.
