Although at present it is proposed to deal only with seven acres, when further sports grounds are required it will bo possible to take in a further section of the park. Both the Whanjproi Hockey Association and the Cricket Association are short of playing grounds and will probably use the now grounds. Until the site of thy now entrance to the park is decided upon, and the Whnngarei Racing Club hns completed the improvements it is now carrying out, it will not be possible to begin work on the now playing aroaa.
