WOMEN'S DIVISION
Waiteitci. —A bring and buy sale and flower show were held by the Waiteitci branch oi the Women's Division of the Farmer. l ' Union recently. The results of the flpwer and produce competitions, which' were judged by Mrs. De H. Clark, itere as follows:—Marigolds, Mrs. A. [iarwood; dahlias, Mrs. J. Sands; zinnhs, Mrs. J. Sands; sweet peas. Mrs. A Burnam; single speeiman'bloom, Mis> F. Bradley; collection of flowers, Mm. J. Sands; vase arranged for afternoon tea table, Mrs. K. Sheldon. 1; Mrs. Fougere, 2; collection of vegetables. Miss J. Barker, 1; Miss F. Bradley,. 2; six largest eggs, Mrs. K. Miller, 1; Miss F. Bradley, 2. Kaukapakapa —Mrs. Henley presided at the nonthly meeting and welcomed two new members, Mrs. Sussex and Mrs, Kemp, and also Mrs. Buekton, a visitor from Auckland. Arrangements uere made to welcome the Dominion president, Mrs. Wickham, when representatives of the branches of the northern group of the Waitemata provincial executive will meet her. Ilegrtt was expressed at the departure of Mrs. James to another district. Competition results were: — Flowers, Mrs. larry, 1; novelty, Mrs. Greena.ll, 1; \ ase of flowers, Mrs. Gallagher, 1; Mrs. Greenall, 2. The hostesses were Mrs. Earle and Mrs. Poland.
