Mrs. L. A. Spedding, Remuera Road, will leave to-day to spend a fishing holiday at Taupo.

Mrs. D. Adkins, of Rothesay Street, Remuera, will return to-day from a holiday at Great Barrier.

Mrs. W. Chisholm Whitney, Victoria Avenue, Remuera, will leave to-day on a fishing holiday to Taupo.

Miss Shirley Curtis, who has been visiting Auckland, returned yesterday to her home in New Plymouth.

Miss Jean Wenzlick, of Tahekeroa, is spending a holiday at Waipu as the guest of her cousin, Mrs. V. Russell.

Mrs. A. I. Johns, Bassett Road, Remuera, returned last evening from a visit to Wanganui and Te Awamutu.

Mrs. A. C. Jacob and Miss Pat Jacob, of Gillies Avenue, Epsom, have left to spend a holiday at the Bay of Islands.

Miss Norma Williams, of Whangarei, wlio is at present staying in Auckland, has returned from a short visit to Hotorua.

Mrs. G. R. Hulbert, of Epsom, is spending a holiday at Waiuku, where slie is the guest of Mrs. Percy Hamilton.

Miss Denise Wootton and Miss Margaret Ewen, of Remuera, will leave to-dav to visit Mrs. Noel McGregor, of Southland.

Mrs. N. J. Kidd, Vincent Avenue, Remuera, will leave to-morrow with her husband to spend a short holiday in Hawera.

Miss Maris Brown, of Ranfurly Road, Epsom, will leave by the Tamaroa from Wellington about February 24 for England.

Miss Barbara Gould, who has been the guest of Mrs. C. W. M. Vereker, of Takapuna, will return to her home at Christchurch this evening.

Mrs. G. W. Henderison, of Upland Road," Remuera, will leave by the Monterey to-morrow with her husband, on an extended tour of Australia.

Mrs. J. W. Mcintosh (Vancouver), Mrs. Lew Smith (Wellington), Mrs. Fullerton-Smith, Mrs. W. Yalder (Hamilton) are at the Central Hotel.

Mrs. J. Hawkins and Miss M. Hawkins, of Winnersh, England, are spending several months in the Dominion and are the guests of Miss D. M. Hawkins, of New Lynn.

Mrs. W. E. Browne, of England, who is spending several months with her mother, Mrs. A. Emanuel, of Kerikeri, is at present the guest of Mrs. Douglas Robb, Symonds Street.

Mrs. B. C. Morris and Mrs. E. K. Walker (Newcastle, Australia), Mrs. F. R. Spencer, Mrs. L. Esdaile and Miss V. Spencer (Sydney) and Miss N. Courtenay Hood (England) are at the Grand Hotel.

Miss Gwen Mitchell, of Mount St.* John Avenue, Epsom, left this week for England, where she will spend the next year. She intends taking several refresher courses in physical training and will also attend a world congress in Sweden.

Mrs. 0. F. Buddie, of Havelock Street, Auckland, will leave this morning for Rotorua. She will be accompanied by her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. R. A. N. Paton, of Scotland, who arrived this week from England.

Mrs. John E. Bates, of Victoria Avenue, Remuera, and her daughter, Miss Joan Bates, will leave by the Monterey to-morrow for Sydney, where they will connect with the Orcades en route to Ceylon, where Miss Bates' marriage will take place. Mrs. Bates will return home via Singapore and Batavia, and expects to be away about six months.
