CHARGES IN LONDON ONE MAN DISCHARGED LONDON, Feb. 14 In the Bow Street Police Court today Michael Joseph Lyons, who., with 19 v others appeared in connection with alleged activities of the Irish Bapubli* can Army, was discharged. Lyons, who was described as a clerk, was remanded on February 5 on a charge of being in possession of explosives. The police evidence was that they found seven hand grenades and 11 cartridges in accused's garden at Stamford Hill, and newspaper cuttings indicating Irish. Republican sympathies. They added that Lyons had been in touch with people already charged.
