NO COUNTER-LUNCH
DECISION AT HASTINGS [BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION] HASTINGS, Friday Hastings hotels will not supply counter-lunch, except biscuits and cheese, from Monday, according to tho decision of victuallers to-day. Tho reason for the move is increased costs amounting in some cases to £ilO or £4O monthly.
In Napier counter-lunch has been abolished for tho last three weeks. It is reported that tho question of "shouting" is to be considered shortly.
