GIRL RUNNER
DOMINION VISIT LIKELY BOOT'S FORM IN SYDNEY SYDNEY, Jan. 30 The brilliant young Australian runner Decima Norman says she thinks it likely that her employers will allow her to go to New Zealand. Sporting writers expect her and V. P. Boot (Isew Zealand) to establish new records in the New South Wales championships to be commenced next Saturday. Boot was never at the top of his form in the 440 yards race which he won on Saturday. Jack Casey, recognised as one of the best quarter-mile runners in the State, cou|jjl not pace it with Boot, who Avon as he liked.
