'29 " 1 Surveying the proposed British South air route, a British Airways LSekheed machine yesterday covered the distance from London to Lisbon in 4 hours 59 minutes, an average sneed of 208 miles an hour. The aeroplane goes on to Agadir today, thence to Dakar, reaching Bathurst on December 31.
