BEGINNING THE DAY

Text. —For God so loved the worn that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shouki not perish but have everlasting lifJohn, 3: 16. Verse. — Love came down at Christmas, Love all lovely. Love Divine; Love was born at Christmas, Star and angels gave the sign. Prayer.—Eternal Father, Who by the birth of Thy beloved Son, Jesus Christ, didst give Thyself to mankind, grant that, being born in our hearts. He may save us from our sins and restore within us the image and likeness of our Creator, to Whom be everlasting praise. Amen.
