AERO CLUB OFFICER

WAIKATO INSTRUCTOR APPOINTMENT ANNOUNCED [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Thursday The appointment of Flying-Officer F. L. Truman as instructor to the Waikato Aero Club is announced. FlyingOfficer Tnlinan is at present pilot-in-structor to the Middle Districts Aero Club, Palmerston North. Ho will be replaced there by D. Campbell, a Union Airways pilot.

Flying-Officer Truman received his training in England, and has had experience of instruction work in India. He has over 1000 hours of instruction work to his credit. Before taking up his appointment at Palmerston North 18 months ago, he was an instructor to the Royal New Zealand Air Force at Wigram. Flying-Officer Truman will commence his duties at the- Ilukuhia aerodrome on Januarv 7.
