BOXER SUSPENDED
LEAD USED TO MAKE WEIGHT (Received December 21, 10.35 p.m.) NEW YORK. Dec. 20 Tho Boxing Commission has suspended Tommy Loughran and his protege, Matt Raymond, for 60 days, because Raymond fought n bout at Mndison Square with lead fishing sinkers in his boxing shorts. Raymond actually weighed only 1611b. —scarcely middle-weight. He beat Henry Cooper, 1951 b. The purse has been forfeited. Raymond has beaten 30 heavyweights, including Nick Fiorentino, 2071b.
