MOTHER'S DISCOVERY CHILD'S HEAD IN SUMP TRAGEDY CLOSE TO HOUSE [BY TELEGRAPH —PBESS ASSOCIATION'] CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday A boy aged 21 months, Raymond Arthur Charles Richards, whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Richards, live at Wakefield Avenue, Sumner, was found drowned at his home about 1 p.m. to-day. t The discovery was made by the mother, who found the child lying with its head in a> sump outside the kitchen. A doctor was called, but nothing could be done to save the child.
