. George Naismith, the former Australian open golf champion, had an amazing card of 63 in a friendly fourball match at the Riversdalo course in Victoria recently. That he bettered the course par of 70 by seven strokes was a feat in itself, but the way he compiled the figures must constitute a record that has never been equalled anywhere in the world, comments a Melbourne writer.
