ENGLISH VISITOR

SON OF SIR JOHN SIMON SHORT STAY IN DOMINION' [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] WELLINGTON, Tuesday An arrival by the' Wanganella from Sydney to-day was Mr. J. G. Simon, son of Sir John Simon, Chancellor of the' Exchequer in the British Government. Mr. Simon, who is assistant manager of the P. and 0. Conjpany in London, is accompanied by his wife and small daughter. They have been visiting Australia, and intend spending Christmas in New Zealand and then returning to Australia. Mr. Simon said they had made arrangements to see something of the North Island, and would be leaving on a pleasure cruise to the Bay of Islands to be made by the Narkunda. After that thev proposed to return to Australia, and would leave there in February for England.
