UNCONSCIOUS ON ROAD
INJURED WATERSIDES ; HEAVY FALL FROM BANK CONDITION REPORTED SERIOUS Concussion and a possible fracture of the skull were suffered by a waterside worker, Mr. Eric Henley Beechey, aged 30, married, of 3 Brixton Road, Mount Eden, when he fell from a steep bank in Albert Park and dropped heavily into Kitchener Street yesterday afternoon.
He was found lying unconscious on the roadway by a passing pedestrian, who summoned the police and ambulance. Mr. Beechey was taken to the Auckland Hospital by a St. John ambulance, and his condition last night was regarded as serious.
