FIGURES FOR NOVEMBER •' Sixty-fivo cases of infectious diseases'" came under the notice of the Department of Health from the central Auckland area during the month ended November HO. Tuberculosis was the most prevalent disease, 26 cases being reported. Erysipelas was in nine instances, while six eases each were reported of scarlet fever, diphtheria and septic abortion. A total of 10 cases occurred in the Thames-Taurnnga district, six of theso being tuberculosis.
