HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES CONCERT AT SANATORIUM MEMBERS OF WOMEN'S CLUB Tho patients at the > Rotorua Sanatorium were given an enjoyable concert this \wek by the members of tha music circle of the Women's Club an'l helpers. !'►•'} programme, which had been ai ranged by x Aliss M. McKenzie, was varied ana greatly appreciated by all those present. Mrs. W. L. Richards wished all the patients the compliments of the season, after which the gardening circle of the club presented the patients with posies and buttonholes. Songs were sung by Mrs. L. H. Joblin, Mrs. J. J. Dillon, Miss Baigent, Miss M. Gresham, Miss R. Holland, Miss R. Walker, Miss B. Davidson, Mr. C. J. C. Grant and Mr. E. Barns. A pianoforte solo was played by Miss M. McKenzie and dances were performed by the members of St. Luke's Girls' Club, Miss Pat. Urquhart, Miss Mary King and Miss Pat. Tapp. The accompanistes were Mrs. G. H. Weir, Miss M. McKenzie, Miss S. AlcKinney ana Miss F. Gresham. Community singing was enjoyed and supper was served by the committee. Mrs. L. Dingle, of Hinemoa Street, left this week for a trip to the South Island. Mrs. H. B. Smith, of Ohinemutu, is spending a fortnight's holiday in Wellington. Mrs. R. Burns, cf Auckland, is visiting Rotorua. Mrs. P. Gibbs, of Tilsley Street, is a visitor to Auckland. Mrs. P. W. Dingwall, of Arawa Street, has returned home after spending a holiday at Tauranga, Te Aroha and Waitomo. Mrs. Cameron, of Napier, is spending a holiday in Rotorua with her sister. Mrs. Russell Gardner, of Alalfrov Road. < ' Mrs. M. K. Chandler, of Pukuauta Street, has returned home after spending a holiday in Auckland. Mrs. A. Brown and Miss Jean Pearce, of Fenton Street, who have been visiting Mount Maunganui, returned on Tuesday.
