LEAGUE OF HELPERS
FAREWELL TO MEMBERA social afternoon was held by the Women's League of Helpers in the church hall at Castor Bay, this week. The programme was in the charge of Mrs. A. Lewis. Musical items by Airs. Lewis, who also gave a sketch, and Airs. Belin, were enjoyed, and coinpetitions arranged by Mrs. Malcolm added to the entertainment of those present. . A presentation of a tray and embroidered cloth was made to Airs. Leah, prior to her departure from the district. A gift was also made to Airs. Pat Retter, who will leave to-day for Australia en route for Johannesburg. Afternoon tea was served.
