NO INCREASE AT PRESENT ADJUSTMENT MAY COME LATER [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] WELLINGTON, Monday "No increase in the general postage rate within the Dominion has been considered by the Government," said the Postmaster-General, the Hon. F. Jones, to-day, when a report that some more in this direction was contemplated as brought to his notice. The Minister indicated that the inauguration of the air mail service across the Tasman Sea might have some bearing on the air mail rate within the Dominion, but no readjustment in 19 respect would be considered until other questions involved in the operation o the service were decided.
