SALE OF TROTTERS OFFERING AT CLAUDELANDS [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Monday A sale of trotting horses is to be held by Messrs. G. W. Vercoe and Company,. Limited, Hamilton, at the Claudelands showgrounds on Friday at 12 noon. Trotting accessories, including sulkies and harness, also will he put up for auction. Among the horses to be sold are Rebel Maid, Winestra, a three-year filly by Peter Bingen —Winestra, Gold Pointer, a two-year filly by Great Par-rish-Benefice, Waingake, General Sarsfield, a two-year bay filly by Jack Potts—MatchligTit, a six-year roan mare by Matchlight—Dark Night, a nine-year-old Four Chimes mare, with foal at foot a two-year colt by Jewel Pointer, and a four-year brown gelding by Ciro.

WINNING JOCKEYS E. H. HUMPHRIES HEADS LIST The Biccarton horseman G. H. Humphries is the leading rider for the current season in New Zealand with 23 wins. B. H. Morris follows with 17 successes, and then come W. J. Broughton 15, It. W. McTavish 14, P. Atkins 14, J. Chaplin 14, H. N. Wiggins 13, L. H. Oriental - Bay should be _ included in tho Plnnket Handicap, Golden Blonde and De Friend in the Electric Handicap and Foxsen _ and Little Star in the Sylvia Handicap.
