Jellicoia class boats was reached * at a meeting of the Auckland Yacht and Motor-Boat Association last evening:. The following committee was appointed to carry out a series of trial races:—Messrs. G-. S. Miller, G. E. Laycock. G. M. Dennes, R. Belcher, G. McKeown, C. Daw, K. Aimer. At a subsequent meeting, Mr. Laycock was appointed chairman;, and Mr. Belcher secretary of the couimitti&e. and it was decided to hold tho first trial on Saturday afternoon, starting off King's Wharf at 3 o clock. . The following boats were selected to tak&\ part in the triilils: —Endeavour, ' Aileen, Clyde, Marjorie. Endeavour and Aileen have previously represented Auckland. Clyde was formerly owned in Wellington and once represented that province. Marjone is a new .' boat built by Mr- J. Ewan, of -Whangarei, for Mr. W. Parkes, of Auckland, lately owner of the Endeavour. The oourse will be decided upon at 2.30, p.m. on Saturday. '
