REWARD FOR VERMIN
A decision to increase its reward from lid to Is each for stoats' and weasels' tails was reached bv the council of tho Auckland Acclimatisation Society at a meeting 1 held at Whitiauga. The reward for hawks' feet will remain nt 6d. Tho council agreed to increase the ofFer in respect of stoats and weasels following a recommendation that rewards- should be mado uniform throughout tho Dominion.
