BUFFETED" BY WIND HARBOUR RACING MISHAPS ' | LAUNCHES RESCUE CREWS For the second week-end in succession strohg, gusty winds yesterday resulted' in a number of yachts capsizing on the Waitemata and Manukau Harbours. The heaviest toll, however, was taken on the Manukau, where six JL2ft. yachts capsized in the course of racing; i Launches carried out rescue work and two or three of the crews remained in the water for about an hour before being picked up. Two yachts capsized between Bayswater and Northcote yesterday afternoon. A ljliunch was despatched to the scene from H.M.S. Philomel, but it was found that the crews had reached shore and that the-boats had been taken in tow. An M class yacht, with a crew of four, capsized early in the afternoon off Prince's Wharf, the boat and occupants being picked up by the fishilng-launch Melodion and taken to Western Viaduct.

A 14ft. yacht .was capsized off Point Chevalier last night. The crew reached shore in safety, leaving the boat partly submerged.
