SOCIAL AT ONETANGI
A social evening and danco arranged by the Onetangi Ladies' Club was held on Saturday. The proceeds will be used for the purchase of materials for making articles to be sold for the benefit of selected charities or institutions. Competitions and games as well as dancing and items were enjoyed, Mrs. H. J. Corrigan contributed songs, Mrs. E. Griffith? presented humorous characterisations and Mrs. E. Ahern and Mrs. G. Levens took part in a sketch. Winners in competition dances were Mr. and Mrs. Day, Mrs. G. McGrevy and Mr. H. Willetts. The accompanist was Mrs. Greenhalgh.
