DANCE RECITAL

PROGRAMME AT PAPAKURA Pupils of the De Nand School of Dancing presented an enjoyable recital in the Papakura Methodist Hall on Saturday evening, a large audience greeting the items of a varied pro* gramme with enthusiasm. The young performers showed admirable talent in many intricate numbers, which included ballet, toe and tap dances arranged by the principal, Miss Patricia Tennent. Appropriate frockmg added considerably to the charm and colour of the items. Trophies for the season's *ork were presented as follow: —Ballet cup, ]Nesta Kernot; tan cup, Elaine Mclennan: mimo tropnv, June .Davis; liojal Academv passes. Maris McLennan and Kathleen MeßoWts.
