LINES OF NELSON EDDY DESCENDANT OF THELMA Nelson Eddy, winner of tho Riccarton Stakes at Addington on Tuesday, is bred on attractive lines, being by Nelson Derby, a Great Northern Trotting Derby and Auckland Trotting Cup winner, from Lady Bee, by Great Audubon from Lady Sybil, by Rothschild from Thelma, a great producor, by Kentucky, son of Berlin, from Pride of Lincoln, by Touchstone. Among Tholma's progeny is Wildwood Junior, dual. New Zealand Cup winner, Authoress, dam of Author Dillon. Marie Corelli, Adonis, Cameos, dam of Onyx 3.13 and grand-dam of Free Advice, dam of Horse Power, Waverley, sire of Willow Wave, and Azelzion, sire of Whippet. Nelson Derby is by Nelson Bingen from Norice, a., fullbrother to Native King and Nelson Fame, both defunct. Lady Bee is the dam of Roma Girl, whose sire is the Harold Dillon horse Author Dillon, and Pilot Peter, winner of the Dominion Trotting Handicap, who is by Peterwah.

POPULAR COLOURS CLIFFORD HORSES WIN No colours are more popular at Riccarton and other courses throughout New Zealand than the Clifford blue and gold chequers and there is general satisfaction among racing inon that they are to be kept unfurled by the trustees of the estate of the lato Sir Charles Clifford.
