DRIVER SERIOUSLY HUflf COLLISION WITH TRUCK [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] INVERCARGILL, Tuesday When a tramcar and motor-truck collided in Yarrow Street this afternoon Mr. Alfred Henry White, aged 58, the driver of the tram, suffered severe injuries. The front part of the tram, which struck the side of the truck, was stov® in. The tram was thrown from the rails at an angle of 45 degrees. The lorry, which was carrying a Sfcnvy load, was almost undamaged. Mr. White was taken to hospital. Hit condition is serious.
