MOUNT ALBERT WOMEN A meeting of the Alount. Albert Women's Group of the New Zealand Labour Party was held this week. Airs. F. .Martin presided. An address on Socialism was given by Airs. McCreadv. The following officers were elected: President, Airs. 1 1 . Afartin; vice-presi-dent, Airs. Griffin; secretary-treasurer, Airs M Basham; executive. Airs. Kim, Mrs! Ireland. Mrs. Holt, Airs. Brown and Airs. Williams; trustees, Airs. Warren and Airs. Eraser; official reporter, Mrs. F. Taylor. Unanimous appreciation was expressed bv the group of the efforts of Mrs. F. Martin and Airs. AI. Basham, who have worked wholeheartedly in the interests of the group.
