SEARCH FOR OIL
PREPARATIONS IN NORTH WORK TO START SHORTLY [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] DARGAVILLE, Friday A director of Northern Oilfields, Limited, a company recently, formed for the exploitation of oil fields in this district, Mr. Spener Mason, and Mr. F. Cummings, manager of the company, are visiting Dargaville in connection with tho affairs of the company. The area over which the company holds licence is about 200 square miles in tho Hobson and Otamatea Counties. Mr. Mason said that the company was now making arrangements for preliminaries for the Commencing of work within a week or two. The company would bo putting in bores with a view to determining the structures of territory to be exploited.
