AFRIKANDER MEMBER SOUTH AFRICAN ASSEMBLY CAPETOWN, Oct. 1 A tired Assembly, sitting nine hours daily, in view of the adjournment this week, gasped when Dr. van der Merwe entered wearing a Voor Trekkef costume of corduroys and check craVat. The effoct was heightened by whiskers, which Afrikanders are growing in anticipation of the Voor Trekker centenary celebrations in December.
