FATAL SNAKE BITE
MELBOURNE GIRL'S DEATH [FROM OUIt OWN COHUESI'ONDENT] MELBOURNE, Sept 28 Fifteen hours after she had been bitten by a brown snake, Phyllis .Rose Corless, aged 17, died in tho Royal Melbourne Hospital. She was walking near her home at about 9 a.m. when sho felt a sharp pain in her ankle and saw a snake gliding across her foot.
