[MR. D. J. WRIGHT'S CAREER An old resident of Auckland, Mr. D. 'J. Wright, celebrated his 89th birthday at the residence >of his- eldest daughter, Mrs. F. W. May, Mason's Avonup, Heriio Bay, on Mondny, Born in I/ondon, Mr. Wright was apSrenticed as. a printer to one of the ondon daily newspapers in his youth.
