Tho former has recently returned to fast work. Princess Val (Picknell), recording 375, finished in front of Orelio (liartie) over three furlongs. The former has plenty of speed over a short course, while Orelio was doing well without being pressed. Hi<j;b Sea (Parkinson) and Milanion (Uey.iicly) were together throughout half 'a mile run in 51s. Both bear a healthy appearance. Parquet Improving Bronze Trail (Curwen) and Estro (Hatwell) covered threo furlongs in 37 3-os. They have no immediate engagements, but aro making advancement. He showed 1.3 3-5 for five furlongs, the first furlong being completed 12 2-ss, two in 24 2-ss, and half a milo in 495. Gold Petal went too fast early to sustain tho paco over the last furlong, which took 14 3-ss.
