AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION SOUND FINANCIAL POSITION The balance-sheet presented at the annual j meeting' of the Auckland Rifle Association disclosed a sound position, the bank balances amounting to £lll lis Id. It was resolved to hold the next prize meeting on January 2, and to adopt the same programme as for 1938, which was found to be very popular among tho competitors. WHANGAREI DEFENCE CLUB [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Monday During the week-end the "Whangarei Defence Rifle Club's members shot at the 200 and 500 yds ranges. The top scorer was G.
