Mrs. Henry Harris, of Gisborne, is visiting Auckland. Mrs. Bryan Kingston, of Reinuera, will leave this morning for Rotorua. Miss Nancye Edwards, of Whangaroa, has returned after a holiday visit to Auckland. Mrs. L. Hart, of Mount Maunganui, and Mrs. G. Dawson, of Tauranga, are at the Station Hotel. Mrs. F. Wright, of Devon port, has returned from Wanganui, where she has been visiting friends. Mrs. Keith Anderson, of Mangere, has returned from a visit to Rotorua, where she spent the past week. Mrs. Hugh Kirker, of Arney Road, Reinuera, will leave by motor-car this morning to spend a holiday in Rotorua. Mrs. Douglas Burns and -Miss Ailsa Burns, of Remuera, are on a motoring four and are visiting Wanganui and Wellington. Miss Agnes Storck. of Suva, and Miss Winnie Thorpe, of Hamilton Road, Heine Bay, will leave to-day for a visit to the Chateau. At the Royal Hotel are: —Mrs. D. A. Lusk (Bay of Islands), Mrs. Douglas Cox, Mrs. Frank Pcarce (Christchurch), Mrs. C. B. Wilkinson (Hastings), Mrs. E. Louisson (Wellington). Mrs. R. Godfrev and her husband, the Rev. R. Godfrey, of St. Lawrence's Vicarage, Aramoho, Wanganui, are visiting Auckland in connection with the visit of the mission ship Southern Cross. Mrs. Chas. V. Marshall returned by the Niagara from a four months' tour of California, Canada and Alaska. After spending fa few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Astlev, she will return to her home in Napier. Mrs. B. L. Peek and Miss M. Peek, of Mount Eden, have concluded a £OOO- - motor-ear trip of England. Wales and Scotland, wrote our London correspondent on now on their way to Norwav. They expect to leave for New Zealand in December. The monthly meeting of the Papatootoo branch of the W omen's Christian Temperance fnion was held recently. Mrs. Long presided. Reports of the recent district convention were given bv ]\lrs.
