OPOTIKI CLUB'S OFFICERS [BV TELEGRAPH OWN CORRESPONDENT] OPOTIKI. Friday The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Opotiki Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club: —Patrons: Messrs. G. S. Moody, J. W. Gordon; president, Mr. C. Tabb; vice-presidents, Messrs. S. if. J. Ephion, J. M. C. C'aldon; lion, surgeons. Drs. A. J. Brass, H. Mail; joint secretaries, Messrs. B. Anderson,, E. Upton; lion, treasurer, Mr. A. Debrecen.v; committee, Messrs. R. Mcilwraith. T. Hickey. J. Shaw, It. D. Black. A. S. De Montalk, J. Inskip, Griffen; club captain. Mr. T. Hickey; starter. Mr. R. Mcilwraith. The report and balance-sheet showed that the club had had a very successful year and competitors who had travelled to other centres had performed very creditably. Offers of a javelin and discus were received.
