KING'S OLD BOYS' CLUB UNRESTRICTED MEMBERSHIP NAME CHANGED TO AQUILA On account of the difficulty experienced li.v tho King's College Old Hovs' Cricket Club in fielding an eleven last season it was decided at tho annual meeting to alter the restricted constitution of the did).and to change its name to Aquila. The former members will be absorbed and the membership will be u nresd.rictcd. Tho following officers were elected: — Patron, Mr. J. X.'Peart; vice-patron, Mr. H. B. Lusk; president, Mr. T. 11. (.'. Caughey; secretary, Mr. W. S. Douglas; treasurer, Mr. T. A. McArthur; assistant secretary-treasurer, Mr. H. Barr-Brown; club captain, Mr. F. M. Andrews; delegates to Auckland Cricket Association, Messrs. 11. T. Pearson, G. Kerry, F. M. Abbott*; committee, Messrs. D. C. Cleverley, F. M. Abbott, P. Mowbray; selection committee, Messrs F. M. Andrews, Jl. T. Pearson, D. C. Clcverlcy, G. W. Coles, P. Mowbray. NORTII SHORE CLUB SOLE SELECTOR APPROVED The president, Dr. H. C. Bennett, presided over a good attendance of members at the unimiil meeting of tho North Shore District Cricket Club. Tho following officers were elected:—President, Dr. H. C. Bennett; committee, Messrs. V. S. Sale. L. Colebourne, J. McDcvitt, J. T. Bush. J. B. Simpson, R. Jaggs; lion, secretary, Mr. i. G, llowdcn; acting treasurer, Mr. It. Jaggs; delegate to tho Auckland Cricket Association. Mr. L. Colebourne; club captain, Mr. W. J. Coates. After much discussion it was agreed to appoint a sole selector. The finance of the club was reported to be in a sound position, it was reported that extensive alterations now being carried out to tho Devonport Domain pavilion should add 'o tho convenience of both club members and visiting teams.
