AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION Tho affairs of the past, season were wound up and arrangements completed for the annual meeting to be held on October to at, a meeting of the executive of the Auckland Rowing 'Association. The New Zealand Rowing Council advised that the ballot had allocated the centennial championship regat.a and inter-pro-vincial eights for the l!):Ul-tO season to tho Wellington Association. The only application so far received for the championships in tho coming season was from the Marlborough Association, and for tho inter-pro-vincial eights from Canterbury. The annual meeting of tho New Zealand Association will be held at Wellington on October A resolution was carried expressing recret that Mr. Bayfield had signined his intention of retiring from the secretaryship of the New Zealand Amateur Rowing Association and thanking him for his services to rowing in Auckland.
