Mr. F. W. Luxford, of Hamilton will leave on Monday on a visit to America. Mr. James Fletcher returned from Wellington by the limited express yesterday morning^ Mr. M. H. Tisdall arrived bv the limited express yesterday morning oq his return from Wellington. Mr. T. Pr.vde, secretary to the Southland Hospital Board, will retire on March 31 after, more than 30 years' service. Mr. A. H. Mnrison, inspecting engineer for the Railway Department, returned to Wellington by the limited express last night. Mr. Ernest Jenner has resigned from the position of conductor of the Royal Christchurch Musical Society on account of ill-health. Mr. Trevor S. Withers, chief executive officer for the Auckland division of the National Party, left for Wellington by air yesterday. Mr. W. A. Hislop, general manager for New Zealand of Universal Pictures Proprietary, Limited, returned to Wellington by the express yesterday afternoon. . \ Mr. R. H. Mr-Keir/ie, chairman of directors of the New Zealand Co-opera-tive Dairy Company, Limited, will return to Auckland on Monday by the Niagara after a visit to England. Dr. Hugh Dalton, M.P., a prominent member of the British Labour Party will arrive by the Niagara on Monday on a visit to New Zealand. Mr. Dalton will also visit Australia before returning to England.
