Sept. 14 All Army officers living in their own homes at Liege have been ordered to report to barracks, says the Brussels correspondent of the British United Press. Officers on leave elsewhere in Belgium have been recalled to the colours. Although neutrality is expressed officially in Bulgaria, men between 20 and 50 years have been ordered to register, says a message from Sofia. The Army manoeuvres will end on Sunday. Holland, Hungary and Poland The Dutch Government is calm, nceording to the correspondent of the Daily Telegraph nt tho Hague. Although fully estimating the seriousness of the position, it does not expect nn immediate armed conflict. In the event of a war Holland would remain absolutely neutral. She has not taken any special measures to defend the country, and denies that troops have been called up. Hungary considers the situation to be most serious, says a despatch from Budapest. The newspapers declare that everything must be done up to the last .minute to avoid war.
The Polish Parliament has bgen dissolved, as important changes in public opinion have necessitated new national representations, says a telegram from Warsaw.
Press on Fuehrer's Speech Tho Swiss Government is of the opinion that the situation has not deteriorated, and considers that peace may be preserved, says the Geneva correspondent of the Times. The existing precautions are regarded as sufficient. The Bucharest press considers that Herr Hitler's speech provided temporary relief, but was full of future danger. The Berlin press acclaims Herr Hitler's speech which, however, awakens no enthusiasm among the populace apart from the Nuremberg party zealots.
