MOTOR-CAR WRECKED
THREE WOMEN INJURED PLUNGE OVER A BANK [BY TELEGRAPH OWN* CORRESPONDENT.! WELLINGTON, Wednesday Three women were injured when a motor-car driven by Mr. F. S. Read, 28 Duncan Terrace, Wellington, fell about 15ft. from Glenville Road, Miramar, on to Pretoria Road. They were taken to hospital. * Mrs. J. Read received an incised wound on her upper lip, an injury to her right leg and severe shock. An injury to the back and shock were received by Mrs. E. Read, and Miss H. Read received abrasions to her right knee and left leg.
The car, which was wrecked, failed to negotiate a bend in Glenville Road and plunged over a bank to land upside down on its hood in Pretoria Road.
