PRESENTATIONS
The manager and staff of the Now Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company s factory at "Waimauku met at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. David .Dawson on Mohdny night to mako a presentation to Mr. Harry Cane, who has resigned from the company because oi ill-health after 28 years' service. The manager, Mr. J. A. Blake, presented Mr. Cane with a gold watch and chain from the past managers, present managers and staff, and spoke of the fine service Mr. Cane had given .the company. Oil behalf of the stafl, Mr, Dawson spoko of Mr. Cane's helpful and friendly spirit in his relations villi other members of the staff. Mrs. Blake presented Mrs. Cane with a sheaf of daffodils on behalf of the wives of stall members. Ju recognition of his services to the company. Mr. Frank Bridges was presented with a. chiming clock this weekon his retirement from the Auckland Gas Company, Limited. The distributing superintendent. Mr. J. J. Rogers, made the presentation on behalf of the staff.
